On November 7, 2024, the third Unit of the Gribo Popoli HPP in Côte d'Ivoire, constructed by the EPC contractor Sinohydro Bureau 5 Co., a subsidiary of PowerChina Group, was connected to the grid and entered commercial operation 30 days ahead of schedule. With this milestone, the power station is now fully operational.
