Work scope:

• A 330kV transmission line from Upper Kariba Gorge 330kV substation to Lower Kafue Gorge 330/30kV substation, with the total line route of 11km and 26 towers;

• Extension works of Upper Kariba Gorge 330kV substation, mainly the construction of one line bay with corresponding equipment;

• New Lower Kafue Gorge substation of 330/33/11kV, including one transformer of 65MVA 330/33/11kV, HV equipment and all necessary control and protection systems, etc.

Services:

• Technical assistance with the topographical survey, sub-soil investigation and laboratory testing;

• Basic and Construction Design for transmission line;

• Basic and Construction Design for Upper Kariba Gorge 330kV substation extension and Lower Kafue Gorge 330/30kV substation;

• Consultant services for the 330kv transmission line, Upper Kariba Gorge substation extension and Lower Kafue Gorge substation.
